Born in Bern, Switzerland, on March 3rd,1978.
Free lance Italian photojournalist, based in London, member of NUJ-National Union of Journalists, specialized in sport, event and documentary photography.
In the last two years he has covered several international sport tournments: Sevens Rugby World Cup Dubai 2009, Ice Hockey World Championship Switzerland 2009, Women Rugby World Cup England 2010, Men’s Volleyball World Championship Italia 2010, Magners League, Heineken Cup, 6 Nations, Rugby Aviva Premiership and much more.

He commences his passion for photography attending a course in macrophotography and animal photography, during his second year of university, 1999. At the outset, he concentrates primarily on insect and flower photography, reflecting his love for nature, showing a collective exhibition: “Forest and poem”, at Viterbo, in Italy on 2001. After qualifying with a degree in Forest and Environmental Science, he attends an Advance Still Life and Fashion Photography course at ISFCI in Rome. After this course, he moves to Ireland, in search of new photographic motivation and challenges, where he has been for four years. In Dublin he has gained experience in theatre, landscape, portrait photography and photojournalism. On June 2008 he has a personal exhibition shown, entitled “Ireland and poem”, at Makenoise gallery in Rome.
He startes to shoot sport more than 2 years ago and after several publications in magazines and web sites, he become member of NUJ on January 2009. He leaves Dublin on September of the same year and travelling for 4 months between India and Nepal doing a project about Tibetan refugees and on January 2010 he moves to London where he attends MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at College of Communication and works with agencies and media as free lance photojournalist.
